A summary of the week of the final exams.

I just could not wait to write another post. So it's been almost 5 days without school. (today is a snow day). I can assure you they are well-earned: Last week was the week of mid-semester exams. I'm pretty sure I failed History, maybe Chemistry, Algebra II...I guess I kind of did. (Nespresso) What else? Technology was super easy. There were some questions like: The stone age was principaly marked by: 1)the use of stone tools and weapons 2) the construction of stone statues 3) The use of tin and copper 4) a time of rebirth for science and the arts. God, do you really have to study a lot to know the answer to that? On the other hand, here is a sample IB History question: What is Descartes best known for: 1) He introduced deductive reasonning 2) He introduced inductive reasonning 3) He established the law of (German name) 4) He established the theory of (something only a Chemistry teacher could know about). Ok...Descartes was mentionned only 2 or 3 times in the huge book with almost no picture we have to read for that class and on which our tests are based. How do you expect me to remember those kinds of details? I am not a walking encyclopedia ! What is inductive reasonning by the way? I have no clue ! Yes I am mad !
Anyways it feels good to write. Talking about writing, I got quite passionnate about my TOK essay for the mid-semester exam. Maybe some day I will post the entire thing on this blog but not today. I also got passionnate about my IB English exams. I had great ideas, but although I'm intelligent I am slow because my concentration span is very short. 2 minutes, then I think about something else for 2 minutes, etc. so I did not have time to really write the ideas in an organized and easy to understand way. I hope it will be ok though...Then comes IB Spanish. I love Spanish. My favorite language with French. I think I did pretty good, except on the history part, as usual. I won't write a conclusion for this post, I'm too tired of well-organized essays...
